The first day is arrival
day!!! Every student will be welcomed
to Calgary by a Wynchemna teacher at the Calgary International
Airport, which
is located in the northeastern part
of Calgary.
It is a 20-minute drive from the
airport to the student residences. At the student residences,
each student receives a welcome package, which includes a free
phone card. There is telephone in each bedroom so that students
can call their parents to let them know they arrived safely.
Afterwards, students can unpack and relax before supper.
After a barbecue supper in the
penthouse, we play a few games to get to know each other's name as
well as an activity such as Canadian Bowling before heading to
bed.
