Today was another great, active day of sportsing!
After lessons and lunch at SAIT, we headed to the golf range to practice our swing. After warming up, the competition was on! We all had a chance to show off our newfound, practiced swing, and see who could shoot the furthest. Much to our surprise, we all had a pretty good shot and it was such a close tie!
Next, we headed to Stronghold to go rock climbing. It wasn’t easy, but boy was it fun! With determination and encouragement from our peers, we managed to make it to the top of the wall.
One might think we were monkeys for the day after all that swinging and climbing. Unlike monkeys, however, we had a hearty dinner of Italian food; pasta with a side of vegetables- not bananas.
When we returned to SAIT, we finished off the day with a Loose Moose Workshop. A skilled actor, who specializes in improvisation, came to teach us some of the tricks of the trade. Here, we exercised out creative minds, and had the chance to try out some improv acting for ourselves.
Another fulfilling day completed!
