Another New Teacher - summer of 2018

My name is Mikaela! Growing up in a small Northern Ontario community has lead me to love the outdoors. Whenever I have some free time I can be found hiking, kayaking, swimming, going for quad or snowmobile rides (depending on the season), or playing sports. My favourite sports are volleyball and basketball and I have a great love for swimming and yoga. If I have a few hours break between classes at school, I can normally be found curled up with a good book and a cup of tea or coffee. Teaching has always been a major part of my life, I have been lifeguarding and teaching swimming lessons for the last 6 years and tutoring students at a local elementary school for the past 3 years. I am looking forward to the new and exciting opportunities this camp has in store for the students, staff, and myself.Hope to hear from you soon,Mikaela
