August 8th 2016 - Canoeing, Baseball, Capture the Flag, and Rollerskating - Bugling Woodland Caribous
It was a wonderful day here at Wynchemna. The day began with a nutritious and healthy breakfast, consisting of a eggs, some bacon, fruits, vegetables, cereal, and some vitamin filled juices. As breakfast was done, the students had their English lessons for the day. The lessons were as knowledgeable as can be, as the students learned about varying topics but focused on canoeing and baseball as those were the activities for the day. After the lessons, the students anxiously awaited while having their wonderful lunch. The students could not contain their excitement during lunch time, as all were discussing how much they were anticipating playing baseball and then canoeing.Canoeing began as eventful as ever, as the sun was shining, the wind was calm, and the water was as clear as can be. The students enjoyed their time enormously, as many had never been canoeing before, let alone in water as beautiful and gorgeous as the lakes of calgary. After canoeing, the students learned how to play baseball, which was a new experience for many. Baseball was a wonderful time for everyone, as the students were able to show their athleticism throughout the game. After the activities, Denny's hosted the students and teachers for a wonderful dinner prior to going skating. After a much needed dinner, the students skated for a few hours, and some had already made enormous strides in their improvement from the previous skating experience. The day then finally concluded as everyone headed back to residence to get some much deserved rest.[AFG_gallery id='551']
