What a jam-packed day today! We woke up bright and early, the earliest ever actually, to put our stinky, dirty clothes through the washing machine and dryers. While the laundry was whirring, we continued with our lessons. Next, for lunch, we had delicious baked chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy! It was a bittersweet moment saying our goodbyes to Frida! She was a wonderful student here at Wynchemna! We will miss you! After lunch, we headed off on the bus for our activity-filled day. First we split into two groups and took turns doing kayaking and Canadian football. Kayaking was a blast in the Glenmore Reservoir, and it was a perfect cloudy, lazy day to paddle about. Canadian football was a first fore most of the students. It was great to learn a new game and the kids had fun tossing the good ol’ pigskin around. Then we were on the bus again, heading out for indoor soccer!!! We played hard and sweated buckets. Our reward was a tasty vegetarian meal at Swiss Chalet. But we weren’t done yet. When we came back we had our Loose Moose workshop where a Loose Moose instructor, David, taught us the art of improvisation. It was a great time and we busted our guts laughing. Today was a good day, and we had tons of fun and good times.  _J [AFG_gallery id='227']
