Bugling Woodland Caribou - IKEA Movie & Rollerskating - August 1, 2016

Lights, camera, ACTION! The day began with a healthy breakfast to fuel our brains for all the excitement that was going to take place, First the students worked together to plan the movie and the script that went along with it. The students agreed on a modern-day Star Wars adventure!After the script was made and the characters decided the teachers and the staff headed to a thrift store to find costumes for everyone. When the students were all dressed and well rehearsed we headed to IKEA. Filming was one of the more interesting parts of the day, as the students tried to evade members of the public and the sharp eyes of the IKEA staff.When the filming was completed we celebrated with an IKEA dinner, where the students choose whatever their stomachs desired from the extensive menu of Swedish foods. Once our bellies were full of fish, meatballs, lingonberry sauce and frozen yogurt, we headed off to Lloyd's Roller Rink where we roller-skated the night away.Rollerskating or rollerblading was a new experience for many of the students, but they all did exquisitely and we are super proud of them all!THAT'S A WRAP![AFG_gallery id='523']
