Cackling Canada Geese - July 18, 2017 - Kayaking, Baseball, Casino Night

Wow what a day! We began the day with a special breakfast of waffles with Nutella and syrup on top. Next, we got back in the swing of things by powering through three lessons. The students were excited to get back at it!After some delicious sweet and sour chicken with potatoes for lunch, we went to kayaking. The students paddled their way across the reservoir taking in the beautiful landscape.Then we learned a few tips and tricks of baseball. The students dove, slid, and caught in order to execute many plays on the field. Some students who were new to baseball said they were excited and delighted to learn the rules and play their very first game.Our supper was served at Denny’s - the crowd favourite was the chicken and sausage quesadilla. Yum-yum!We concluded the day’s activities with CASINO NIGHT! The teachers became poker dealers and servers while the students enjoyed an evening of playing games and betting their Wynchemna dollars. Then the students participated in an auction to win some sweet Canadian souvenirs. All in all, we had a great day and the students went to bed excited for another day at camp.[AFG_gallery id='629']
