Chinook - July 25-2013

Today the students were overjoyed to be given the chance to experience Calgary’s vibrant Chinook mall scene. After a morning of english lessons the students were disheartened to see that the weather was still quite cold and that rain and thunder were looming. The plan had originally been to go kayaking but the weather problems interfered. However, the students still decided to make the best of the situation and dove headlong into exploring new stores and talking with local Calgarians. Afterwards we all got back together to watch a movie at the theatre. The Imax was breathtaking and the students enjoyed the day, reenergized to continue classes and activities tomorrow.
