As always, we began the day with classes.  Classes have changed now that our numbers have expanded and we also have some new teachers that joined us since our group is now so large.  For some of us it means we had to be split from some friends, but we made lots of new friends in our classes.  After classes we went to the Olympic Oval here in Calgary for some ice-skating.  Calgary hosted the Winter Olympics in 1988 and the oval was built just for the games, however it is used all the time as a training facility and is open to the public for skating as well. Our group had lots of people who were able to skate, but also lots of first timers as well.  Skating was not that hard really, and some our teachers were able to give us advice and show us how to get around.  The ice surface was huge and it was pretty cool to be on the same ice once used in such a prestigious international competition as the Olympics.  After skating and dinner we all went to a huge indoor soccer facility.  We were divided up into teams and had a mini-tournament.  Each team was like a miniature World All-Stars as we were a mix of students from three continents!  We had a great time using the international language of football to communicate and there were great players from every country present here at Wynchemna; even the Canadian teachers were good! [AFG_gallery id='69']
