Chuckling Bison - July 19 2015 - Sunday Funday

Back to the books: Today, we returned to our lessons after a break yesterday because of the hike. Our 2 new students joined the classes as well and got a sample of how fun and engaging learning English can be.Hear that swoosh : After a delicious lasagna lunch, we took advantage of the sun and went out to play some long overdue basketball. Things got competitive very quickly. Thankfully, it was all smiles all the time! We have some good hoop stars in our team!Goaaaaaaaaaaaaaal: We had 5 new friends join the Bison in the afternoon. We took them along to play an hour of indoor soccer at the Calgary Indoor Soccer Centre. There was ‘fun’ and ‘competitive’ games happening at the same time. In the last 20 minutes, we played full-field, that certainly tested the cardio stamina of few.Birthday! : It was Tony’ birthday and we celebrated in a grand fashion with cake and plenty of birthday wishes!
