It was another early morning here at Wynchemna with the Bison. Fueled by breakfast, they continued on with their usual three lessons learning through play about directions, Murder Mystery, conditional tense and lastly, continuing with presenting their country’s holidays. Following lessons was a delicious, healthy and varied Happy Hut lunch. For the afternoon, we set off to the Calgary Canoe Club to learn some canoeing! It was many of the Bison’s first time paddling in the water! Meanwhile, the other half of the group set off to practice some throwing, catching and baseball batting. Once they were warmed up with their newly learned baseball skills, we all played a competitive game of baseball. Several of them hit very impressive homeruns making the scores unpredictable and incredibly close! For dinner, we went to Denny’s where we mostly enjoyed burgers and sandwiches. After that, we visited the familiar Lloyd’s Rollerskating Rink to do another round of rollerskating. Many of them improved and were a lot more comfortable on the rink than the first time around. Less falls and tumbles for all! After another exhausting day, we returned back to SAIT for an early night! Student of the Day went to Ann for always doing the activities with a smiling face regardless of how challenging they are for her. Can’t wait for what’s in store tomorrow![AFG_gallery id='328']
