Hooting Snowy Owls - Drumheller - July 9, 2016
As our camp ascends to new heights, we descended through Horseshoe Canyon in Drumheller. Famous for its fossil findings, we took time to traverse the valleys and crags. Some of us took may have taken a tumble, maybe more than one, but scrapes and cuts become great souvenirs.Next we went to see the ancients – the dinosaurs at the Royal Tyrell Museum. The world’s best dinosaur museum treated the students to some awesome exhibits. After the museum, we went for a swim at the Aquaplex. With pools and slides, we smiled and relaxed in the water. Then we headed to A&W for burgers, fries, and root beer. Our bodies exhausted and our brains exhilarated, we took the long bus ride home, smiling about the day we just had and knowing tomorrow could be just as good, especially since we’re at Wynchemna.[AFG_gallery id='408']
