Humming Owls - July 2 - Hiking and Hot Springs

Today must have been the best day at Wynchemna so far! After the usual breakfast and lessons we went straight to Banff! Everyone helped packing the bus full of food and snacks for us to eat throughout the day. When we arrived we had a nice picnic at the base of the mountain. It was a challenging two hour hike but everyone managed to make it up to the top with a smile, especially when they saw the majestic view of the Rocky Mountains! We all spent time taking photos and having M&M’s. We rode a gondola back down and relaxed in the most wondrous hot springs Canada has to offer.It was such a treat to our feet after the long hike. Finally, we rode back to Calgary to enjoy some pizza before heading to bed. Today was definitely a fun and tiring day. [AFG_gallery id='125']
