Humming Owls - July 8, 2014

After the excitement of yesterday's Stampede Breakfast, we had a low key morning meal with our breakfast groups. Immediately following breakfast, we had two lessons before lunch. Before we headed out to a community centre for our afternoon activities, we all had some free time to call our parents, take a quick siesta, or grab a Starbucks coffee before our activities started!In the afternoon, we worked on our basketball skills and tried a game of hockey, most of us for the first time. It is Canada's most popular sport, and we all enjoyed it!!We had our final lesson before eating dinner at Boston Pizza. We then participated in a Loose Moose Workshop - an improvisation show where we laughed so much our stomachs started to hurt!Then, straight to bed we went - tomorrow we will be heading out bright and early to spend the day at the famous Calgary Stampede!! [AFG_gallery id='141']
