Cackling Canada Geese - July 5th, 2017 - Rockclimbing, Golfing, and Hockey

What a fun-filled day! We started our day with new breakfast rooms and cooked with our newly-arrived friends. Then, we all played a big game of get-to-know-you BINGO. The students and teachers learned lots of new fun facts about each other. Next, the new students wrote their placement exams. After the exam it was finally lunch time; and boy had we worked up an appetite!After our delicious and nutritious lunch of noodles and beef, veggies, and fruit; we departed for an afternoon of sports.Rock climbing, golf and hockey! First at rock climbing students learned new phrases that climbers use so they could successfully tackle the climbing obstacles. They climbed like little monkeys.Next, students had a blast taking a swing at golf. Learning to hold the club and swing properly was super fun! We even had a mini-competition for who could shoot the farthest.Hockey was next on the list as we had some super intense matches on ice. We ran around, scored some goals and had so many laughs when people slid around.We had some scrumptious pasta and salad for supper and enjoyed some bonding and board games in our apartments to end the night.
