Laughing Sea Lions - August 6, 2015 - Stand-up Paddleboarding & Farewells

SUP, dude? Our Sea Lions went right back in the water today on their newfound favourite toy, the stand-up paddleboard. Were they actually able to stand up to the challenge? Well, most of them! SUP is a bit of a balancing act, but was a great time on the water for our students. They got to practice combing through the waters of downtown English Bay, and then later played a game where they hopped from board to board, splashing and sinking their classmates along the way!

It also was a sad day as we began to say our goodbyes to the Road Trip students who would leave the next day. We celebrated our time together after packing by heading to Whitespot, a BC favourite for local and delicious food. Afterwards, we had a photo slideshow and filming of this season's Wynchemna TV -created by students- and then some certificates, dancing, and partying to celebrate an unforgettable summer![AFG_gallery id='364']
