Memories and Happy New Year!
I hope everyone is enjoying a few days with family and friends before the new year begins. While I was in Freiburg, I started thinking of former students at Wynchemna. And you ask why?It was a beautiful night as the sun was setting at my friend's house Fritz so we had to take a few photos before heading to the party where some friends were playing in a band; Arne only started to play drums when he was 40. I hope I will be able to learn new things until I am at least 100 years old.At the party, I was chatting with lots of friends and this young woman says: Roland, how are you? I had no idea who she was and then she said: It is me Stephanie. Years ago I studied in Freiburg and I coached hockey and Stephanie who was 5 years old at the time and the only female player on my team. So here is a photo of Stephanie in her hockey uniform (from years ago) and the two of us just recently (as you can see, the person who took the photo must have had a little too much to drink because it was such a bad photo). It was great to see someone from years ago and to catch up on her life as well as her family because I coached her brothers too. It was a very special night so it go me wondering what is happening with all the students who attended Wynchemna that I have met over the years? What are you up to?It would be great if you can post some comments on the Wynchemna Facebook page to say hello. I know a few of you have already said hello, but it would be nice to see what everyone is up to?I wish everyone a Happy New Year.cheers,Roland
