After all the excitement of The Amazing Race: Calgary Edition yesterday, today was a much-needed quiet day where all of the students stayed around SAIT. We had our regular classes in the morning and after lunch, then we took a bunch of group photos of us with the Calgary sky-line in the background. In the afternoon, we had a workshop with a man named Sean who taught us some improvisation exercises with our group; exercises on how to think and act spontaneously and lots of other fun activities.  We were pretty nervous to get up in front of our fellow students and do crazy stuff, which was ironic in that the workshop was about overcoming our nerves and just acting.  We all had a good laugh today and Sean was a great instructor who has been around the world, teaching students of almost every nationality. In the evening, we decided to cook all our own dinners as part of the smaller groups we normally share our breakfast with. So, as a group we went to the supermarket after discussing menus and bought our ingredients. One group made fajitas, another made pasta and yet another made schnitzel and sushi.  It was a lot of work and some of us had never cooked before, but we had the help of our fellow students so through a group effort, we managed to pull together some great (and nutritious) meals. We made a lot of dishes to wash, but since the spirit of co-operation was already in the room, it was no problem. Fun times![AFG_gallery id='181']
