Soaring Monarch Butterflies - July 9th, 2017 - Ice Skating, Swimming and Games

Today was our first day at Wynchemna and it was a blast!We started the day with a typical Canadian breakfast of bacon, eggs and some maple syrup. After filling our tummies with good and healthy breakfast, we got settled in and met the other teachers and students. They were really friendly and helpful.After making new friends, we got on the bus and were finally on our way to our first activity! We went ice skating and it was loads of fun! We rented skates and had one of our teachers teach us how to tie a proper skate. When we got on the ice, we held each other to make sure none of us fell! Some of us were very fast and others it was our first times, but either way we had a good time with lots of laughs and shaky legs. After skating we had a some yummy Tim Hortons sandwiches and muffins for lunch. When we were done eating, we went swimming in a pool that turned into a wave pool! There were all kinds of waves from the biggest to the smallest. It was so much fun diving into them and riding them like little fish!When we were done swimming, we got back on the bus to go to SAIT. When we go off the bus, we played some ice breakers to remember each other's names and fun games that made us laugh and smile.What a day it was!
