Stomping Striped Porcupines – July 12, 2018 – Welcome to Wynchemna!

What an amazing first day at Wynchemna for The Stomping Striped Porcupines!First we checked the students into their new homes at SAIT. After they showered, unpacked, and were rested up we went outside and played lots of games together. We passed the frisbee, played a little soccer, before we hit each other in dodgeball. Everybody spoke to at least 3 people from different countries that they didn’t know and many good friends were made today! Then we had a relaxing picnic of Canadian sandwiches and delicious ice cream.After dinner, we busted out our best dance moves as Jessica led the group in an energized Zumba dance session. Then we walked around our beautiful SAIT campus, stopping to take in the view of the Calgary skyline from the soccer field before checking out the haunted historic Heritage Hall.As we watched the sun set over Calgary, we thought about all the new friendships and adventures that await us at Wynchemna![AFG_gallery id='769']
