Stomping Striped Porcupines - July 17, 2018 - THE PAPER-CLIP TRADING GAME! and frisbee

Today we woke up bright and early for a great and nutritious breakfast where we talked about the Amazing movie we saw last night and what movies they like from their countries. Today was moving day into the new rooms in preparation for the new group to come to Wynchemna. This meant that the students had move into their new rooms were their many new friends will join them on Thursday.After a few fun lessons and some more Asian inspired lunch prepared by our chef Meagan, the students set off on the Calgary train to embark on their new challenge: the paper clip game. Amazingly, the students went around in some neighbourhoods with only a single paper clip and traded their way all the way up to a coffee maker, a pillow, a historic book, and a somewhat spooky and probably haunted antique porcelain doll. After visiting many happy houses and meeting and bartering with many smiling faces, the students got to go to Boston Pizza for dinner, enjoying some of Canada’s best take on an Italian favourite: fettuccini Alfredo.After supper We got back to SAIT and played a game of ULTIMATE FRISBEE, a Albertan favorite, before settling into the new rooms for a good night sleep… zzzzz[AFG_gallery id='780']
