Teachers for the summer of 2017
"Hey everyone!My name is Vicky and this will be my second summer at Wynchemna. During the summertime I love to go on road trips to visit new cities in Canada or in the US. I also enjoy camping trips and trying out new outdoor activities. In my spare time, I like to play basketball, golf, paint, or learn a new song on the piano. I am excited to explore the Canadian culture with students and teachers from various places around the world. Also, I am looking forward to all the adventures and amazing sceneries that Western Canada has to offer!"Vicky
My name is Kerry and my interests include: reading, writing and arithmetic. My areas of teaching are History & English.I have 2 wonderful kids named Kalli-Lynn (5) and Stone (4).My interests outside of school are CFL football.....GO RIDERS GO!!!!, hockey (WHL & NHL), camping, hiking, swimming, and having as much fun as I can possibly have with my kids.I am also apart of Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Saskatoon. Sk.I currently was just voted Big Brother male volunteer of the year in Saskatoon. I will receive this award in September of 2017.I was awarded the up and coming coach of the year award by my internship school.I just convocated for the second time in 3 years on Wednesday June 7/2017, with my Bachelor of Education.I convocated in October of 2015 for my History Degree.Kerry

Whooo! I can’t wait for summer! My name is Dustin and I am thrilled that I will be teaching at Wynchemna for a third summer this year. I come from a small town in Ontario but the summers I spend in Alberta are special – maybe because of the spectacular Rocky Mountains or the Calgary Stampede – who knows?! Some of my favourite things to do at Wynchemna are kayaking, rock climbing, swimming, and hiking. I love teaching and learning new languages which is another reason why I love Wynchemna so much. I am incredibly excited to meet new students and to begin having many fun adventures this summer!Cheers,Dustin
My name is Jaffra. I worked for three years in the ski industry in Revelstoke, BC, doing everything from high ropes course guiding to ski repair and work for a heli skiing operation. I have also worked a significant amount in the tourism and hospitality industry, spending some time working as a zookeeper and as a heritage interpreter at a National Historic Site in addition to ski bumming. In my free time I enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, climbing, skiing, basically anything that keeps me outside and active. I am looking forward to meeting students from all over the world and having tons of fun teaching English at Wynchemna!
