The Chinook Winds - July 12, 2013 - Arrival Day

The Chinook Winds blew into Wynchemna today, greeted by real Calgary cowboys at the airport to a background of country music! After a long flight, everybody was happy and excited to finally be at their destination, although maybe a little apprehensive about what the next few weeks might hold.  The first group of Chinook Winds met their teachers, Amy, Anna and Shaun, and moved into their temporary home at SAIT.  The campus at SAIT is ever expanding, and out group of students received a tour of the facilities from Shaun; locations visited included the gym, the cafeteria, the racquet ball courts, the library, the soccer field and there is even a Starbucks on campus!!  After their long trips to Canada, the students were happy to have a quick meal at the local mall followed by a long sleep. [AFG_gallery id='43']
