Wild Roses - August 2 - 2013

An exciting adventure ensued as the students made their way through the neighbourhoods of Calgary playing the paper clip game.  Starting with only a paper clip, the students had to trade-up with residents for better items.  Over the course of a few short hours the teams ended with large items such as a portable DVD player, a table, a lava lamp, and a heater.  It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to practice their English and meet people from the city.  In the evening we travelled to the Loose Moose to see their weekend Improv show.  The students enjoyed the hilarious comedy sketches, and are all looking forward to their workshop in a few days time! [AFG_gallery id='94']
