Baseball, Kayaking and frozen treats!

Today began in classic Wynchemna fashion with breakfast followed by three ESL lessons. In the afternoon, we took a crash course in baseball, courtesy of our very own English Teacher (and resident baseball expert) Hunter. Then students went to the went to the marina in order to take a Kayaking lesson. We learned many basic Kayaking techniques and were even able to play games on the water including Freeze Tag! Afterwards we had dinner at Denny’s: a classic pitstop on any North American adventure. For dessert, student were given frozen treats from Wendy’s for dessert!

Upon returning to campus, students broke off into groups based on nationality in order to prepare for International Supper: an event happening next week in which students will have the chance to represent their countries by preparing food from each of their respective cultures! We can't wait to experience what each group decides to prepare.

We finished the evening with a special celebration in honour of Birthday Girl Bella!
