Camping in the Rockies!

Well, we have made it back from an incredible camping experience! We arrived and quickly set up our tents so we could enjoy a delicious dinner all together. After a big day of moving and set up we headed to bed so we could prepare for all the adventures camping had to offer us. The students went on an incredible hike for surrounding mountain views. We went swimming in rivers and lakes galore. They explored ice fields and drank glacier water, and went horse back riding around the infamous Lake Louise. We had some rain one day, so we packed everyone up and relaxed in the hot springs. Of course the students wanted to do a bit of shopping, so we had an amazing day exploring downtown Banff. There was Canadian food, like Beaver Tails and Poutine, as well as so many shops to explore and buy family members and friends gifts from our beautiful country. Some of the students went to the basketball courts to have a tournament. Our evenings were spent making s’mores and singing songs around the campfire. It was a beautiful last week together and an incredible time spent together in the Canadian Rockies!
