Canoe and Rock-Climbing Adventures!
Today at Wynchemna the students started off by having their second last day of English lessons. The improvement in the students is evident as they continue to learn new words and make conversations with their new friends from around the world. The students made fake dating profiles and practiced pick-up lines, put each other on trial for waffle theft, and played a fun game around each others qualities. Students then at a scrumptious lunch at the SAIT and finished their English lessons.
In the afternoon the students then went to University of Calgary to learn how to canoe. They splashed around and battled some tough weather but had a great time despite a phone falling in the lake. After that they journeyed to the Calgary climbing centre to try rock climbing. The students had the chance to experience the thrill of various unique climbing walls. Some succeeded and some fell but all of the students had fun. In their free time after eating at the University of Calgary they began to further prepare for the upcoming Wynchemna talent show. Singing, Dancing, and comedy routines will highlight the talent show that is taking place on the last day before camping.
