Dancing the Night Away!

Well, the day has finally come, the Road trip students are leaving us tomorrow and this is our last day all together: we made it count. We started our day off with a pancake breakfast at the UBC cafeteria and then spent the rest of the morning editing and finishing our Wynchemna broadcasts! Once we finished, we headed to Jerico Beach for a paddleboarding lesson! What an incredible experience! The water was perfect and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. After paddle boarding we hopped on the bus again and went to Granville Island for the afternoon. We explored the market, listened to live music, and atr some delicious fresh fruit from the market. By late afternoon we headed back to UBC to get dressed up for our farewell dance party. Once everyone was looking sharp, we headed to the legendary BC restaurant White Spot for dinner and then danced the night away at a local studio! After dancing, we came back to UBC again and watched a slideshow of pictures from the camp together and said our goodbyes. It was so hard to say goodbye to our new friends and we all shed a few tears and exchanged gifts. We will never forget our incredible experience at Wynchemna and the amazing friendships we made.
