Drumheller

Today was a great day at Wynchemna! The day started in our breakfast rooms where we cooked and chatted. Then we attended our dinosaur themed classes to prepare everyone for an afternoon in Drumheller. In lesson one we worked together to create our own dinosaurs. There was lots of laughter during this activity. After we learned more about Drumheller and Albertosaurus. The final lesson of the day had students moving around outside where they had to play a game of survival tag. After a well deserved lunch we hopped on the bus and headed to Drumheller. The first stop we had was at Horseshoe Cannon where we hiked the unique landscape. Some students even caught a glimpse of a prairie dog. Next, we split into two groups. One group enjoyed sports and water activities under the largest dinosaur in the world. The other group headed to to the Royal Tyrrell Museum. After a busy afternoon the students ate burgers cooked by our own teachers. The students helped packed up and we headed back to Calgary.
