Gearing Up for Camping!

The Mammoths had an exciting day preparing for their week of camping! But first, we started the day with lessons! We learned about a Canadian hero - Terry Fox and discussed who our personal hero’s are. We also discussed different animals and their levels of intelligence.

After another scrumptious lunch at Happy Hut, we learned how to pack our sleeping bags for camping. We then took a trip outside for an afternoon full of hilarious games! We played games such as water balloon toss, the hose challenge, tug of war, dizzy bat, sponge relay, and the lifesaver challenge. We then got in our tent groups (Water, Fire, Air, and Earth) and made our team t-shirts, songs and dances! Last but not least, we learned how to set up and take down our tents so that we are prepared for when camping time comes.
