Hiking, Water Falls and Water Wars

It was a grand adventure today at Wynchemna’s as the students went outside of the city of Calgary to Head-Smashed-in Buffalo Jump. Here, the students did a fun hike and got to look at various species of plants, and wildlife. Then afterwards, the students got to visit and swim at Lundbreck Falls. Here, we had students battling the rapids and each other to stay on the giant rock with some students even daring to swim near the waterfall! We then hiked up Frank’s Slide, a rock canyon that had an amazing view. Lastly, the students had a wonderful time at Crownest Lake. It was here that an epic water gun and towel fight broke out, with some students being tossed into the water. The students also enjoyed a fantastic supper, and a leisurely swim.
