Home-Runs and Water Fun

Today was a full day of laughs at Wynchemna. After some riveting lessons about Canadian history, Comedy and mystery stories, we took some time to practice for our talent show. Our groups are trying to keep their performances under wraps but we are looking forward to singing, dancing, origami, science and performance art. Later we took to the water at Aquabatics. We learned some basic strokes to kayaking, took in the sites of heritage park and even limbo-ed under the bridge. It was splashing a good time! In baseball we learned how to hit, field, run the bases and pitch the ball. Two teams faced off in a game to decide who was the Bobcat baseball champion! We then went to Denny’s for Supper. We ate Salmon, Club Sandwich and a Pot Roast. After Denny’s we had the privilege in taking part in an improv comedy workshop with the one and only Sean from Loose Moose! We practiced our spontaneity, enthusiasm, risk taking and we shared lots of laughs. We finished the night with a gold ole fashioned Wynchemna birthday for Ryan including a homemade birthday cake! Happy Birthday Ryan!!!
