Laundry, Laughs, and Laces: A Day of Fun and Games!

Hey everyone! Welcome back to another day at Wynchemna. It's day six of camp, and what a day it's been.

We started our day with some much-needed laundry. It's incredible how quickly clothes pile up when you're having so much fun. While our laundry was going, we had a delicious breakfast of bagels, eggs, bacon, and fruit. There's nothing like a hearty meal to kickstart the day.

After breakfast, we headed to our morning lessons. Today's focus was on developing our acting skills and creating "All About Me" posters. We also took some fun quizzes and participated in other engaging activities. These lessons aren't just educational; they're helping us build more meaningful connections with each other.

Lunch was next on the agenda, and we had a fantastic spread of pasta, cookies, and salad. Right after lunch, our laundry was ready to be switched to the dryer, so we took care of that before packing our bags for an exciting afternoon.

The afternoon was a blast! We headed to Bowness Park for some outdoor activities. First up was learning to play American football. For many of us, it was our first time, but we had so much fun learning the rules and running around the field. Next, we hit the water for some canoeing. Paddling around the park was both relaxing and exhilarating, and the weather was perfect.

After a full afternoon of activities, we wrapped up the day with a delicious dinner of Vietnamese pho. The warm, flavorful soup was the perfect way to wind down. Once dinner was done, we made our way back to SAIT for our last lesson of the day.

We ended the day by reflecting on everything we did. It's incredible to see how much we've accomplished and learned in just a single day. The acting skills, the teamwork in football, the peaceful moments canoeing – all of these experiences are shaping our time at camp into something truly special.

That's all for today, folks! Thanks for joining us on this journey. See you tomorrow for more fun!
