Laundry, Packing up, and Talent Show!

Here it is, the day before our big camping trip! Today was an extremely busy day of cleaning up, packing, laundry, and the Talent Show! The students are excited for a full week of camping, getting packed and cleaning up their rooms to move out of our home sweet home. The Squirrels started off their day eating a full breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages, and cereal before tackling their laundry! After the first round of laundry, the students went to their classes for lessons; reflecting about their time here at Wynchemna, the importance of cooperation and teamwork, and learning new vocabulary. Lunch followed soon after full of steaks, chicken, and burgers before heading back for a second round of laundry.

Afterwards, the students spent the day spiffing up their apartments to ensure that the next tenants would live in a spotless room; making sure that all the dishes, trash, and food is all cleaned up. Once the apartments were all cleared out, the students got to packing up for camping and preparing their talents for the Talent Show. Before performing for the talent show, the Squirrels made their way to the Tower to eat some delicious Asiatic food for supper! The Juniors and Seniors split off with the Juniors going out to play soccer while the Seniors hit the stage with some amazing talents! Showing off their singing, dancing, and other unique talents for their classmates. Although the show had to end, the party was just getting started! The students headed back to SAIT where they celebrated the birthday of their fellow classmate, Una. Happy Birthday Una! Once the students were all tuckered out, they headed to bed with thoughts about the big day on the horizon. The camping trip!
