Lessons, Paper Clip Challenge, Street hockey and Loose Moose

Today the students got to learn about the red paper clip story. A Canadian was able to trade a paper clip for a house in the span of a year! After splitting up into different teams we walked around Calgary and tried to replicate the challenge, students were able to trade their paperclips for haircut coupons, hockey equipment, a drawing tablet and a team was even able to get a pair of skis! After an eventful afternoon, the students headed to Denny’s for a classic Canadian dinner. Following dinner, the students had the opportunity to watch a show from Loose Moose, an improv group based in Calgary, the students had a blast watching their various skits. Congratulations to Daniel for winning student of the day!
