Mammoths Visit Dinosaurs in Drumheller!
The Woolly Mammoth’s had a scrumptious breakfast with bacon, eggs, Nutella, waffles, and orange juice! After fuelling up for the day, the students had two excellent lessons where they learned how to write funny short stories and a guide on how to survive Jurrassic Park! After a wonderful lunch in Happy Hut, we prepped for an incredible day at Horseshoe Canyon and Drumheller. Although it was a hot day, the team were extremely curious hikers and explored the beautiful sediment formations of Horseshoe Canyon with gusto! Afterward, we travelled down to the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller, a world-famous dinosaur museum with massive displays of everything from the Brontosaurus to Tyrannosaurus Rex. A dinner consisting of delicious burgers, salad, fruit, and veggies was served at the Rotary Spray Park where we had a great time mixing with students from the senior camp called the Timber Wolves! This was such an amazing day, can’t wait to see what’s in store for tomorrow!
