Paper Clip Challenge and Board Games!
It was another wonderful day here at Wynchemna! After breakfast, students started their day with lessons where they had lots of fun talking about stereotypes, movie genres, tattoos, and presenting their own personal flag. After lessons, the students walked to North Hill Mall for lunch where they got to choose to eat pizza, pasta, or salad from Vanilles. Once the students finished their delicious meal, they got into teams to play the paper clip game! Each group was given a paperclip and their goal was to go door to door in a friendly neighbourhood in Calgary to trade their paperclip for something cool. All groups were successful and gained new treasures such as a new water bottle, jam, binoculars and even a new toaster! After the game students walked to Safeway and bought groceries to make pizza, perogies, burritos, and potatoes. After cleaning up, students enjoyed playing board games with each other.
It was an amazing day today! We cannot wait to see what adventures tomorrow will bring us!
