Rocky Mountain Road Trip: Head Smash, Frank's Slide, and Lundbreck Falls Adventure!

The kids had their usual fun meal in their morning breakfast rooms. Today's first trip of the day was to the Head- Smashed- In Buffalo Jump, where the students learned that It's a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the oldest, largest, and best-preserved buffalo jump sites in North America. The students took a nice hike in the cool breeze and enjoyed the scenery, whilst taking lots of photos. After our walk, the students made their own sandwiches for lunch with lots of lunch meats such as Ham, Roast Beef, Salmon, Turkey, veggies and juice! After lunch, we went Lundbreck Falls where the students got to hike around and dip their bodies in the water. The students had a blast cooling off and lots of smiles all around. Once the students were well rested, we were on our way to Frank's Slide, where students learned about the mountain slide that wiped out a whole town. Many students conquered their fears and checked off their bucket list to climb up the rocks to the top of the mountain. Lastly, we all had supper eating Sausages, Salads, Cheese and Crackers, fruits and Juice at Chain Lakes and with some active activities playing volleyball, soccer and football!
