Twinkling Day of Tent Games!!!
We started today with a good breakfast of cereal, eggs, bacon, and toast. We then began lessons that included Caribbean Culture, Acrostic Poems about Stampede, Tongue Twisters, Persuasive Letters, and many more. Likewise, we then went to lunch at the SAIT cafeteria where we pulled pork, potatoes, cauliflower, and delicious rice. We went back to have our last lesson of the day, then we met in the common area where we got into our tent groups for our upcoming camping trip. In these groups, we made t-shirts, a song, and a poster all based on our group names. The groups included hedgehogs, crocodiles, penguins, zebras, flamingos, elephants, pandas, lions, rhinos, and sharks. After we finished making t-shirts for each group member and personalizing them, we moved outside for tent games. Those games included tug of war, sponge race, Oreo challenge, bat-spinning race, and the balloon race. Then we ate some fantastic pizza that was needed after such a fun-filled day before we practised setting up tents. We then had a dun water balloon fight where we ended up all soaked with smiles on our faces. We ended the day by turning in for an early night ready for another day of fun!
