Until We Meet Again, Farewell Canada

What a great last day we spent together! We woke up, and said goodbye to three more of our students today. We hope Maya, Ximena and Zoe had safe flights home today. After we said our tearful goodbyes to our new friends, we had a delicious breakfast of waffles, cereal and eggs. It was great energy for the semi-annual newspaper fashion shows. Some of us showed off our designer skills while others showed off their modelling skills. After hours of work we had creative and unique newspaper outfits that were designed and built here at SAIT! After the fashion show we had a wide variety of food at lunch, where there was something to satisfy everyone’s cravings. After we had refuelled with a healthy lunch we headed back to our apartments to begin preparing for our departures. We packed and cleaned in anticipation of our final day tomorrow! Our teachers surprised us with a fun filled night that left us with many memories to bring back home after our trip is over. First, we watched a slideshow that recapped so many moments from our time at this camp! We laughed until we cried going through pictures and memories. We all received certificates for successfully completing our time at Wynchemna and learning so much! After a delicious steak dinner at Boston Pizza, we finished our night eating ice cream and singing karaoke. There are so many talented singers here! Overall, it was a great end to such a great camp. We have learned so much and made lifelong friends this summer. Saying all of our final goodbyes tomorrow will be tough, but we hope that one day we will all see each other again.
