We lost all our money!!!

Another busy day at Wynchemna! We were so excited to start our day with all the new students that joined us yesterday! We had new breakfast groups, new lesson groups AND new teachers! A completely fresh day for everyone here. After our nutritious breakfast, we hit the books, studying hard and learning together. The afternoon was full of excitement as our students learned football, nailing that perfect spiral throw. We then cooled off in the water with some canoeing! One teacher even landed in the water! Many laughs were had as we enjoyed our afternoon in the sun. But the most exciting part of our night was an evening casino! The students were checked for identification before being allowed into the casino. They each started with around $1200 Wynchemna dollars… and some ended the night with over $40,000!! Much success was had at the poker and blackjack tables, while others tried their hands at bingo, uno and spoons. There was a game for everyone as they all tried their luck. But where did they spend this money, you may ask?? Some bought snacks, root beer floats and chips galore! Others spent their money on our Wynchemna auction! They bid on shirts, cars, wallets, mugs, games and so much more! After such a busy day we were ready to head to bed, excited for whatever tomorrow will bring. Sweet Dreams!
