Bellowing Buffalo - August 10 2014
We slid right into activities today, onto the Olympic Oval ice-skating rink. In 1988, the ice was used by champions, but today Bellowing Buffalo took over the rink. Some were amazing, like Alexis, from Italy, did a 360 jump-spin. Others, were on the ice for the first time and their bravery was just as awesome.After dinner we went to the bowling alley. I have never seen anyone, Wynchemnites or otherwise, play as excitedly as the Bellowing Buffalo did today. Whether scores were high or low, it did not matter - we cheered.On the way home from bowling we took a detour into Nose Hill park. As the sun was setting, and the “super” moon shone, we walked up to the top of Nose Hill. Up on top of the hill, we saw another fun Wynchemna day end beautifully.
