Bellowing Buffalos- August 8, 2014
Another early morning at Wynchemna, where though we’re tired, we still smile. Lessons probably passed too quickly, and then we went right on the bus, quickly for another adventure. We went to new heights at Calgary’s rock climbing centre. Some kids, like German Tina, had to conquer their fears, but all made it up the wall safe, sound, and smiling. We then also dug our toes deep into the sand, playing beach volleyball. We were under the beautiful Calgary sun for some time, then the weather shifted and some kids experienced hail (frozen rain) for the first time. The fun continued indoors, since at Wynchemna, the fun can never stop. After a homemade dinner back at SAIT, we went back to Loose Moose. Though our muscles were tight, after the rock climbing and volleyball, our lungs got loose and we laughed and laughed so much.Tonight we’ll need a good rest, since tomorrow we’ll be going to the Calgary Badlands, to test our bodies again, and the Royal Tyrell Museum, where we’ll treat our minds.[AFG_gallery id='216']
