Booming Bighorns - 30 July 2015 - Rides and Risks

After lessons and lunch, we got on our way to Calaway park. This post is titled rides and risks, but there surely is little risk at Calaway, as it is famously one of North America’s safest amusement parks. Though there is little risk there, there is so much fun, with roller coasters, timber rides, carousels, bumper cars, dream machines, and more.The risk the title alludes to is to what happened after we got back to SAIT, after passing through Market Mall for dinner. We played a game with some surprise jelly beans: two jelly beans, one pleasant, and the other terrible. We weren’t risking too much, but it ended up being so much fun.Though we teachers recognize that the students all took a huge risk, travelling around the world to learn English. But tonight, everyone seemed to really come together: we all sang together on the bus ride home, while the sun was setting in the distance. It was wonderful.[AFG_gallery id='339']
