Booming Bighorns - 8 August 2015 - Belaying and Booming Bighorns

Today, we continued our adventures in Calgary! After lessons, we headed to the climbing wall. The Booming Bighorns were natural climbers, but they were even better belayers, helping each other safely reach new heights.We then headed out to play volleyball. The game was great but no one could argue with our environment: the Calgary sun was blazing hot but that made the sand feel  even cooler between our toes.After volleyball and dinner, we all got dressed up for Casino Night! A Wynchemna tradition, we teachers set up games so that the students could try their hands at filling their hands with Wynchem-Money. That money sure was important when new teacher Eddie began the auction. The kids jumped at the chance to win an awesome prize. Someone got Canada socks, someone got a Canada frisbee, someone even got a Canada umbrella-hat, but everyone got a great memory of a great day.[AFG_gallery id='374']
