Booming Bighorns - August 6, 2015 - International Supper and Karaoke

Today the students had the chance to share their cultures through something we can all relate to… Food! We started the morning off with our usual lessons, then hit the mall this afternoon to shop for ingredients to prepare for our international supper. The students cooked dishes from around the world, creating a delicious meal. And here’s the menu!From Mexico, we enjoyed churros, and ‘chocolate caliente’. The German group prepared kaiserchmarrn, while the students from China cooked up delectable dumplings, and meatballs. We also tried French tartare, fried rice from Taiwan, and traditional Italian pizza.We ended the day with Karaoke, where we discovered some students’ hidden talents. [AFG_gallery id='354']
