Booming Bighorns - August 5, 2015 - Moose-ing Around

Today everyone was up bright-eyed and bushy tailed pushing through any last jet-lag. Lessons were lively as usual and after lunch our international community set off to the rink to experience the Canadian creation of ice hockey! With a few tumbles and many goals, everyone got their first taste of the great Canadian sport. Impressively, the students beat the teachers 4-0 in the final match!To continue on with our Canadian day, we enjoyed Tim Hortons for dinner (a Canadian based restaurant we are very proud of) before getting our giggle on with the Calgary based comedy company: Loose Moose! The students cheered and laughed through the improvisation comedy workshop, learning about taking risks, taking initiative, and simply learning how to have fun, make mistakes, and enjoy each other’s company.
