Cackling Canada Geese - July 21st, 2017 - The Great Calgarian Race!

Today the Geese had a great day getting to know Calgary! Our day started off in our breakfast rooms where we cooked up a delicious storm. After filling our stomachs with yummy foods, we spent our morning at the computer lab where we wrote some articles about our favourite memories in Canada! The time flew by as everybody reminisced over the inside jokes and funny times they had made at Wynchemna. After our writing session, we headed to Happy Hut for a great lunch of chicken, tofu and vegetables. Yum!In the afternoon, it was time to set out into the city for an exciting feat- The Great Calgarian Race! We split up into three groups-going head to head in an intense scavenger hunt. We had to ask Calgarians for directions in order to achieve certain tasks such as getting a fortune cookie, taking a picture at the Calgary Tower and finding a Plus 15 (The famous pedestrian skywalk system in Calgary!). It was so much fun - we even got Calgarians to sign our team shirts! At the end of the day, we were experts at getting around the city. The evening concluded with a delicious dinner at the Spaghetti Factory, where we had our fill of pasta and Spumoni ice-cream. Our day of exploring was definitely a success![AFG_gallery id='652']
