Chattering Flying Squirrels - Maurya's, Paperclip Game, Homemade Dinner

The Chattering Flying Squirrels were super stoked this morning- they had a late breakfast which allowed them to catch up on the much needed zzz's from the previous days' fun. Following an awesome breakfast they headed to their lessons where they expanded their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills of the English language. Beaming with excitement from their new-found knowledge, the students hopped on the bus and made their way to Maurya's- a delicious restaurant that offered a true taste of Indian cuisine.After a scrumptious lunch consisting of rice, potatoes, vegetables, and curry, the Flying Squirrels took part in one of Wynchmena's most exciting activities- THE PAPER CLIP GAME! The students began with a single paper clip and had to use their marvellous speaking skills to trade this item for something bigger and better with fellow Calgarians. The Flying Squirrels proved to be largely successful as they ended up with a vacuum cleaner, snow tubes, a backpack, a shirt, soaps and glasses! Feeling hungry from a busy day of trading, the students walked to the local grocery store to pick up ingredients for dinner.
