Echoing Pacific Loons - Newsletter and Mall Trip - July 23rd 2016

It was another wonderful day here at Wynchemna, as the kids began an adventurous day on a warm Friday morning with a delicious breakfast sandwich from Canada's favourite restaurant Tim Hortons. After a donut and sandwich, the students were off to the computer lab at SAIT's beautiful library to begin drafting a news letter regarding their time here with the camp. The students showcased their creativity and smarts, as many were able to showcase their computer and artistic skills making their report. After a few hours spent, the students reports were completed, and will soon be published for others to see in the near future.After our news drafting activity, the students enjoyed a long awaited happy hut lunch, which was dearly missed after a week of camping. The students would need to be energized in order to go shopping at Calgary's Chinook mall for the next few hours. As the students arrived at Chinook, an hour or two was spent shopping, and then the students were able to either continue shopping or watch a movie at the movie theatre. Most students watched Now you see me 2, while others watched Finding Dory or Tarzan. After the movies the students enjoyed a healthy supper and were off home to get to bed.[AFG_gallery id='477']
